We have chosen all these flies because they are relatively easy to tie. But, some are easier than others! We created the list order because we think that the F Fly is the easiest, and there is a logical progression of techniques used to tie the flies as you work down the list. For that reason we recommend that you tie them in the order we have presented them. But hey - it's not compulsory, so if you want to dive straight in with the goldhead hare's ear, that's fine. Just don't blame us if it does you permanent psychological damage. Or your finger gets stuck to the bead........
